TMJ

TMJ or temporomandibular joint disorder is when the joint between the jaw ans skull isn’t working properly. This is a complex joint, for moving the jaw in multiple directions. Any improper movement of the joint can cause problem. The TMJ may make popping sounds to getting stuck in 1 position. You may also have headaches, tenderness, improper alignment of teeth, pain when opening your mouth.

When your experience one or more of these symptoms, come see me before you choose a complicated and expensive procedure. Most of the time a soft tissue and gentle alignment of the TMJ will fix the problem, along with the dos and don’t associated with TMJ care. I have treated patients with the TMJ locked open to patients with headaches. We have great success in treating TMJ problems.

I LOVE Regional Chiropractic Center! The people here are so wonderful and welcoming EVERY time I go in. Everyone here has truly gone above and beyond to help me. I am pretty sure it is one of my baby girl's favorite places to go with me considering how they spoil her :) Dr. Ladd is the best, as well as the rest of the staff. Highly recommend! - Haylee
